Our award-winning flagship retail store, in Tyone, Nenagh, opened in 2017 and includes a complete garden centre where customers can get the full range of quality plants and advice from our horticulturists in our Tyone Mills & Newport store. We provide an extensive range of products across our retail stores including calving, equine, silage, hardware, household, fuel and much more.

Dan O’Connor feeds is one of Ireland’s leading feed brands and is built on more than a century and a half proud history of production and research and development of premium dairy, beef, sheep and calf feeds.

Our dedication to innovation has stood the test of time, ensuring we are constantly coming up with new ways of product improvement. Our high-tech production mill, based on the Ballysimon Road, Limerick, operates off a sophisticated computer controlled system that ensures handling and traceability of goods, from arrival through process and right down to on-farm delivery.

Our experienced production team works in tandem with our 14 strong sales team covering 18 of Ireland’s 32 counties. Our sales representatives undergo constant training and up-skilling in all aspects of animal nutrition, ensuring that not alone do our customers get a premium product but expert advice.

GREENVALE ANIMAL FEEDS

Greenvale Animal Feeds is a leading Irish feed brand for dairy, beef, sheep, calf and horse feeds.

Based in Ballysimon, on the outskirts of Limerick city, Greenvale Animal Feeds manufacturers the prestigious Gowla Premium Horse feeds and Superthrive Coarse Feeds and Muesli Concentrates for cattle and sheep.

Greenvale’s success is built on technical expertise, strong teamwork, premium product, competitive prices and quality customer service.

Our coarse rations comply with the highest specifications and legal requirements. Greenvale Animal Feeds is accredited by the universal feed assurance scheme (ufas).

To help farmers choose the best grass seed mixture, Arrabawn Tipperary Cooperative promotes our CO-OP SOURCE Premium Gold grass seed. This premium mix includes high-yielding and highly digestible grasses and include added Clover, boosting early spring and autumn growth. Formulated with conjunction with Teagasc expertise and based on proven varieties from recommended lists, these are ideal for grazing or one-cut silage. Arrabawn Tipperary Co-op offers a wide range of agrochemical products for all your weed and disease control needs. Our trained staff provide expert advice on the use and application of these chemicals.

To maintain weed-free grassland, implement management practices such as drainage, fertility, grazing, topping, and occasional mowing. When weeds establish, use the appropriate chemicals to target specific weeds like thistles, nettles, rushes, and dandelions, which can affect the nutritional value of grass and restrict grazing. Nettles and thistles also make hay and silage unpalatable.

For fertilisers, we stock many combinations of the three major nutrients – Nitrogen (N), Phosphate (P) and Potassium (K). A comprehensive range of N, P, K, S and minor elemental fertilizers are available in 50kg, 375kg and 500kg bags.
